Book Audit Pro is a web application that helps authors and publishers evaluate and improve their Amazon book listings. The service analyzes public product details such as titles, descriptions, keywords, categories, and metadata, and returns practical recommendations designed to improve presentation and discoverability.

We only collect the information needed to operate the service and to give you a useful, personalized experience.

Account information. When you create an account or sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique authentication identifier. If you sign in with Google, we may also receive your profile picture. We never access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services.

Listing information. When you request an audit, we process the Amazon URL or ASIN you submit, together with the public book metadata returned by the retailer and the resulting audit report.

Usage information. We collect standard technical data such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us keep the service reliable and secure.

We use the information described above to create and maintain your account, generate and store your audit reports, keep a history of your previous analyses, respond to support requests, improve the product, and protect the platform against abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Book Audit Pro supports two sign-in methods. You can create an account using your email address, in which case we send a verification link to confirm ownership, or you can sign in with your Google account through Google's standard OAuth flow. In both cases, we only store the minimum information required to identify your account and keep you signed in securely.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember basic preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may prevent parts of the application from working as intended.

Account details, audit history, and related metadata are stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect this information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to strengthen our protections.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate Book Audit Pro. Google is used for optional single sign-on, Supabase provides our database and authentication infrastructure, Resend delivers our transactional email, and the Rainforest API is used to retrieve public product metadata from Amazon. Each provider only receives the data required to perform its function.

We keep your account information and audit history while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, ask us to delete your account, or object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address at the bottom of this page and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Book Audit Pro is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will communicate them through the platform or by email where appropriate.
